Chinese Vice FM condoles over London blasts at British embassy

A Chinese vice foreign minister went to the British embassy in Beijing on July 12 to condole over the London blasts.

Zhang Yesui expressed grief over the victims and extended condolences to the victims and the injured's families in the London bombing attacks last Thursday.

Prior to this, President Hu Jintao strongly condemned the terrorist attacks, and offered deep condolences immediately after the attacks.

Premier Wen Jiabao also sent a message of condolences to British Prime Minister Tony Blair last Friday.

Several explosions rocked London's transportation network in the morning rush hour last Thursday, killing at least 50 people and injuring some 700.
