World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will send an inspection team to the 10th National Games of China, a top Chinese sports official said on Wednesday in Hefei.

"The team headed by WADA chief Dick Pound will inspect and facilitate our doping control during the National Games," said Wang Baoliang, an official of the State Sports Administration of China, at a national anti-doping conference.

The 10th National Games will be held this October in eastern China's Jiangsu Province.

According to Wang, the Chinese Olympic Committee will increase dope tests at the 10th National Games by more than 20 percent from the previous Games. A total of 1325 tests were carried out during the ninth National games.

"The 10th National Games will see the largest number of dope tests ever," said Wang.

HGH (Human Growth Hormone) will also be tested for the first time at the 10th National Games, said Wang.
