Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival to be held in Sanya

The 14th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival will be held in Sanya of south China's Hainan Province from November 9 to 12.

The opening party, the award presentation ceremony and closing ceremony will be the focus amongst various activities of the film festival. Other activities include domestic new films exhibition, Hong Kong & Taiwan films exhibition, foreign films exhibition, audiences' selection of excellent exhibiting films, China film forum, International film forum and domestic new films' production symposium, etc.

It is also learned that the Golden Rooster Awards will have 20 standing awards and former occasional awards will be cancelled. Films from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan will be eligible to apply for Golden Rooster film festival too.
