font size

An Israeli aircraft fired two missiles at a car in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, wounding at least one Palestinian, witnesses said.

The airstrike took place in Beit Lahiya, where Palestinian militants often launched rockets at Gaza settlements and Israeli towns and villages.

Two people in the car escaped the attack, but a bystander was seriously injured, said witnesses.
