font size

Huawei Technologies, China's largest communications supplier, announced on July 21 its global sales of 33 billion yuan over the first six months this year, which rose 85 percent, with its overseas sales reaching $2.47 billion, or 62 percent of its global sales.

Huawei said sales of its mobile communication products surged by 120 percent year on year. Its CDMA has even achieved a 200 percent increase on the international market.

Huawei attributed its 85 percent sales growth to innovative solutions it provided.

Huawei's fixed network products won 27 new markets outside China, making its overseas markets rise to 97 countries and regions, such as the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Russia etc.

Besides, Huawei has launched its mobile phones and digital cards in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Sweden and Slovenia. More than 2 million units of its CDMA-based mobile C218 have been sold so far.
