font size

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Friday said that it would send a delegation at the ministerial level to Seoul to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Korea in mid-August.

According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the DPRK delegation will stay in Seoul on Aug. 14-17.

The two sides will finally confirm the details such as the agenda through an exchange of document at the truce village of Panmunjom

The DPRK reached consensus with South Korea at their 15th ministerial talks held in June in the DPRK's border town of Kaesong that the two sides hold joint events on Aug. 15 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the peninsula from the 1910-45 Japanese colonial rule.
