font size

The Chinese and US delegations to the six-party talks held a one-to-one meeting after the opening ceremony, said Qin Gang, spokesman with the Chinese delegation, Tuesday.

The two sides discussed the topics and agenda of the fourth round of the talks, and the next step for resolving the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue, including the realization of a nuclear-weapon-free Peninsula, he told a news briefing.

Qin said the Chinese delegation had not had a one-to-one meeting with the delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea since the fourth round of the six-party talks opened here Tuesday morning.
