Pakistan Wednesday offered full cooperation and support for the probe into the attacks in Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm al-Sheikh, which killed more than 60 persons.
The offer was made by Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao to Egyptian Ambassador Hussain Kamel Haridy, who called on the minister in his office here, an official statement said.
The two sides agreed to share information regarding war on terrorism. "We would be glad to help our brotherly Muslim state in its war against terrorism," the statement quoted the minister as saying.
He said the Pakistani government is taking extra ordinary measures to check human smuggling and the two sides agreed to work jointly to curb human trafficking.
During the meeting, the Egyptian envoy apprised Sherpao that no Pakistani national is involved in the Sharm Al-Shaikh attacks.
He categorically rejected earlier media reports linking five missing Pakistanis with the blasts in Sharm Al-Sheikh, the statement said.
Sherpao said that apparently five missing Pakistanis as referred to by the Egyptian authorities are economic migrants.
He stressed Pakistan is also victim of terrorism and that the perpetrators of such heinous acts have no link to Islam.
Pakistani is committed to wipe out terrorism and such elements will not be allowed to operate on its land, the minister added.
