Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono left Beijing Friday afternoon for Shenzhen, China's special economic zone in south China's Guangdong Province, continuing his four-day state visit as guest of his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao.
During his stay in Beijng, Susilo held talks with Hu Jintao and met with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, reaching consensus on further promoting cooperation with China in politics, economy and trade, investment, tourism, education, culture and international affairs.
The two presidents also were present at Thursday's ceremony of signing a series of MOUs or agreements to boost cooperation in defence, economic and cultural sectors and to help rebuilding of tsunami-hit areas.
Susilo, who arrived in Beijing on Wednesday with a 100-member delegation, also delivered a speech on Friday during a luncheon with business people from the two nations.
China and Indonesia agreed to forge a strategic partnership during Hu Jintao's visit to Indonesia last April.
This is Susilo's first visit to China after assuming presidency last October.
