Bodies of the three kidnapped Baghdad airport employees were found on Saturday in a southwestern neighborhood of the capital, police said.
"Iraqi police found three bodies of men shot dead in execution style in al-Amel neighborhood. All the bodies were blindfolded and shot in the head," a police officer told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Identification cards were also found along with the bodies, which identified them as Maher Yassen Jasim, head of communication department of the Baghdad International Airport, his fellow employee Mahmoud Hamad al-Zawbaie and driver Mahmoud al-Zawbaie, according to the police.
Gunmen kidnapped the three in Baghdad's western Mansur district on Wednesday as they were heading to work by car.
Insurgents frequently attacked and kidnapped Iraqi government employees in an attempt to cripple the Shiite-dominated government formed in late April.
