Negotiators began one-on-one consultations Thursday morning as the six-party talks inched into the tenth day, according to the Chinese press center.
A series of bilateral contacts were conducted Wednesday among the delegations.
The end date of the six-party talks remains to be decided though negotiators have been busy discussing the draft common document since the Chinese delegation proposed it on July 30.
According to US chief negotiator Christopher Hill, the US delegation consulted with their Chinese counterpart on the text of the draft document Wednesday night, but had no contact with the delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Hill said Wednesday night that the US delegation was waiting for "the arrangement of host China."
