AU Commission Chairperson to visit China

Chairperson of the Commission of the African Union Alpha Oumar Konare will pay an official visit to China from August 14 to 18 at the invitation of the Chinese government.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan made the announcement Wednesday in Beijing.
