font size

Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki arrived in Beijing Tuesday afternoon, continuing his five-day state visit to China as guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Kibaki is scheduled to hold talks with Hu Jintao and meet with other Chinese leaders including top lawmaker Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao, sources with the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.

This is Kibaki's first visit to China as Kenyan president. He started his China visit in Shanghai on Monday and will also visit Shenzhen, a boomtown in south China's Guangdong Province.
