Jihad threatens to revenge for Tulkarm killing
font size

Al-Quds Brigades, armed wing of the Islamic Jihad (Holy War), threatened on Thursday to revenge for an Israeli killing of five Palestinians near the northern West Bank refugee camp of Tulkarm.

The brigades said in a statement that Israel should start taking precautions because the counter attack will surely occur.

"Israel should start preparing shrouds for its settlers and troops because our response will be doubled in strength and destruction," said the statement.

An Israeli undercover unit shot dead five Palestinians near Tulkarm overnight in a raid aimed at arresting militants connected to suicide bombing attacks against Israel.

However, Palestinian witnesses said that three of the killed were members of the Islamic Jihad and the other two were civilians.
