An exhibition marking 40 years of glorious achievement of China's Tibet Autonomous Region under the theme of "development, harmony, prosperity, unity and progress" was opened on August 28 in Tibet Museum in Lhasa.

The exhibition falls into six parts: care from central leadership and support from nationwide, past and present, economic leaps, all-round social progress, people being their own masters and Tibetan people getting rich.
