Senior CPC official meets Palestinian guests

Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met in Beijing Wednesday with Abbas Zaki, general delegate of Foreign Relations of Fatah Movement of Palestine.

Liu, also a member of both the Political Bureau and the

Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, said China and Palestine have stepped up their relationship in recent years.

With joint efforts with Palestine, China would work with the Palestinian side to go on expending the scope of cooperation and boosting traditional Sino-Palestinian friendship in the new century, Liu said.
