A Qatari official said Sunday that ministers of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will discuss all options to stabilize world oil market, the Qatar News Agency reported.
Before leaving for Vienna to participate in OPEC meeting on Monday, Qatari Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah indicated that the problem did not lie in the supplies of crude oil but the capacities of refineries.
He said on Thursday that it was "unrealistic" for OPEC to curb high oil prices by raising output ceiling.
Al-Attiyah will head to South Africa after the OPEC meeting to attend the 18th World Petroleum Congress.
