PNA official calls on militants to end all phenomena of arms

A senior Palestinian national security advisor on Sunday called on all militant groups to immediately end all images of showing arms in the streets.

General Jibril Rajoub told reporters that Palestinian militant groups and organizations must end the policies of showing arms in the streets and incitement against the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) and its leaders.

Rajoub admitted that the status of chaos and security deterioration had recently increased, adding that the PNA still wants to find a solution through dialogue and implementing law and order.

A huge mysterious explosion occurred in Jabalia refugee camp on Friday during a Hamas rally, where 16 Palestinians were killed and 85 wounded.

if the militant groups don't want law and order to prevail, they would push the whole area into a situation that needs a security solution that would never serve democracy and never builds up discipline, stressed Rajoub.
