font size

Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said Wednesday that more efforts should be made to studying the concept of scientific development.

The concept represents an objective rule which China's social and economic development should follow and a requirement to build up a well-off society, he said.

He said theoretical study of the concept should be combined with China's actual experience, so that the study can bring about more research results.

He also stressed the need of carrying out an education campaign to spread the knowledge about the concept.
