Egyptian police killed two more suspects in connection with the July Sharm el-Sheikh bombings and arrested another one, the Interior Ministry said Thursday.
Police shot dead Khalid Musaid Salem, 33, and Tilib Murdi Soliman, 23, after exchanging fire with them in northern Sinai peninsula, the ministry said, adding a third suspect, who was identified as Yunis Mohammed al-Alian, 25, was captured.
Egyptian police acted on a tip-off and intercepted the three when they were going to meet with Moussa Mohamed Salem Badran, 27, another suspect in the bombing attacks who was killed by police on Wednesday, said the ministry.
A string of deadly bombings rocked the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh on July 23, killing at least 64 people, including many foreign tourists.
Egyptian security forces have since launched a massive manhunt in Sinai peninsular.
