The blasts are "extremely despicable and intolerable," said Foreign Ministry's spokesman Yoshinori Katori, "Terrorism cannot be justified for any reason." "The Japanese government reiterates its firm condemnation of atrocious terrorism that victimizes many innocent people," he saidin a statement. He also said Japan will continue the fight against terrorism, and cooperate with and support the Indonesian government on that issue.
