US President George W. Bush will travel to Argentina on Nov. 3-5 to participate in the Summit of the Americas and to meet with Argentine President Nestor Carlos Kirchner, the White House said in a statement on Wednesday.
"This will be the president's third Summit of the Americas. This visit will allow the president to continue his dialogue with the Hemisphere's democratically-elected leaders, highlight out engagement in the region, and promote the consolidation of democracy and the expansion of economic opportunity and prosperity through open markets and free trade," the statement said.
Moreover, Bush will visit Brazil on Nov. 5-6 and Panama on Nov. 6-7, the statement added.
