The State Taxation Administration announced on October 11 that China's tax revenue in the first three quarters grew steadily and rapidly with 2,319.4 billion yuan collected (excluding customs taxes and agricultural taxes), increasing 20.4 percent year on year or 393.7 billion yuan.

Income tax's contribution to taxation growth further increased. Income tax of domestic and foreign-funded businesses and personal income tax together realized 594.7 billion yuan, increasing by 33 percent or 147.7 billion yuan.
