Astronauts on Shenzhou-6 spacecraft talked with their family members in the Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center for about seven minutes beginning around 9:30 p. m. Wednesday.

Fei Junlong talked with his wife Wang Jie and son Fei Di. Nie Haisheng talked with his wife Nie Jielin and daughter Nie Tianxiang.

"We are all pleased to see both of you are in good spirits," said Wang Jie. "Meanwhile, we all feel very proud of you. All the family members are fine."

"Thank you for your support," said Fei.

In the conversation between Nie Haisheng and his wife Nie Jielin, the wife said the 41st birthday of Nie Haisheng would come in two hours. "Good luck to Haisheng! Good luck to Shenzhou-6!".
