font size

The Bank of China was recently awarded the titles of "Best Domestic Bank for Local Currency Cash Management Services -- China RMB" and the "Best Domestic Provider of Foreign Exchange Services in China -- Corporates" by Hong Kong-based magazine Asiamoney.

The bank said Monday this was a result given by over 3,000 listed companies, multinationals, small and medium-sized enterprises across the Asia-Pacific region, and unlisted Hong Kong companies.

The Bank of China is deepening internal reform and has made substantial progress in corporate governance and risk control, said the bank's spokesman Wang Zhaowen,

With a core capital of 228.47 billion yuan (28.2 billion US dollars), the Bank of China ranks the 18th on the "Top 1,000 World Banks" list announced by well-known finance magazine Banker last July.
