font size

Today's People's Daily quotes Xinhua news from Xi'an that China has become the world's fourth top titanium producer following the US, Russia, and Japan.

China has rich titanium resources and developed full-fledged titanium industry in Shaanxi, Liaoning and Shanghai with unique characteristics over the years. Production of processed titanium materials and other titanium products has risen 30 percent annually for five years.

Titanium is valued as a versatile metal with good qualities of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. It is widely applied in air, land, sea and the outer space under ultra low temperature conditions.
