Chinese premier meets Equatorial Guinean president

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with Equatorial Guinean President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo Friday in Beijing.

Wen praised Sino-Equatorial Guinean relations, saying China is satisfied with the sound development momentum.

"China attaches importance to relations with Equatorial Guinea, " Wen said, noting China will actively contribute to the economic and social progress of Equatorial Guinea and cultivate more talents for the country.

Wen said that China hopes to enhance cooperation with Equatorial Guinea in infrastructure construction, agriculture, fishery and exploration of natural resources.

Obiang said that Equatorial Guinea-China relations have made sound progress, and his country will further cooperation with China, especially in trade and economic relations.
