font size

Global networking company Cisco Systems Friday announced an investment of 50 million US dollars in Bangalore, capital of Karnataka in south India, in addition to the 1.1 billion US dollars announced a few days ago, Indo-Asian News Service reported.

Cisco CEO and president John Chambers said in Bangalore that the investment for the city would be besides the 1.1 billion dollar investment for India operations announced in New Delhi Wednesday.

The 50 million US dollars investment would go towards developing a one million sq feet Cisco campus in Bangalore. The campus, for about 3,000 staffers, would come up by June 2007.
