Chinese premier leaves for SCO meeting in Moscow

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left Beijing Wednesday morning to attend the Fourth Meeting of Prime Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Moscow from Oct. 26 to 27.

Wen pays the visit at the invitation of Mikhail Fradkov, prime minister of the Russian Federation government.

Wen's entourage includes Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, Minister of Civil Affairs Li Xueju, Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, Vice-Minister of Public Security Meng Hongwei, Director of the Premier's Office Qiu Xiaoxiong, and Assistant Foreign Minister Li Hui.
