The Ministry of Commerce will take six measures to promote software export and business process outsourcing (BPO), said Shan Qingjiang, vice director of Department of Scientific and Technological Development and Technology Trade of the Ministry of Commerce at the 2nd Xi'an International BPO Forum on Oct 26.
Shan noted that the Chinese market has become an important component of international market, so it must face the international competition and vigorously explore the international market. The Ministry of Commerce will take the following measures to promote software export and business process outsourcing.
--- Encourage international cooperation and deepen existing cooperation with the United States, India and Ireland. Encourage international enterprises to set up JV in China.
--- Foster software talents, in particular talents that are able to meet demands of international market.
--- Nurture large soft ware enterprises.
--- Quicken the implementation of brand building strategy, and cultivate a group of internationally renowed BPO suppliers.
The government should create favorable environment for exploring international market, to actively push enterprises to build integrity and complete modern corporate governance.
