1.5 million copies of Harry Potter sixth volume sold in one month in France

Some 1,500,000 copies of the novel " Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" have been sold in one month in France since its offer on Oct. 1, Gallimard Publishing House said on Monday.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is the sixth novel in JK Rowling's popular Harry Potter series. 800,000 copies out of the 2 million printed copies were sold in 24 hours since its launch, according to Gallimard.

For the first five novels of the series, more than 300 million copies were sold out in the world, including 16 million in France out of the 17.2 million French copies.
