China's Zeng Qiliang won the gold medal in the men's 100m breaststroke event at the East Asian Games on Wednesday.

Zeng, 28, touched home in one minute 02.34 seconds, 0.43 seconds ahead of second-placed Japanese Genki Imamura.

Daisuke Kimura, also of Japan, took bronze in 1:03.14.
