Olympic champ Luo wins women's 50m breaststroke gold in EAG

Chinese Olympic champion Luo Xuejuan won the gold medal in the women's 50m breaststroke swimming event at the East Asian Games on Wednesday.

Luo cruised home in 31.67 seconds, an EAG record. Japan's Sayaka Nakamura took silver in 32.67, with Suen Kayi of Hong Kong third in 33.45.

"This is my first East Asian Games gold and I'm very happy for it," said Luo.
