Xinjiang steps up efforts in protecting Tibetan antelope

As is learnt from the Environmental Protection Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, local government has reinforced efforts in protecting Tibetan antelope in recent years, with almost all the habitats and breeding places in the region put under protection.

So far Xinjiang has set up three natural reserves aiming at protection Tibetan antelope. Covering an area of some 7.83 million hectares, the natural reserves have covered Tibetan antelope's habitats and breeding places in the region.
