Maradona's TV show ends run with Mike Tyson interview

Footballer-turned-broadcaster Diego Maradona said goodbye to his 13-episode chat show "The Night of Number 10" on Tuesday, with an interview with US boxer Mike Tyson, Argentina's Channel 13 said on Tuesday.

Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias and three major Argentine rock groups -- Los Piojos, Bersuit and Ratones Paranoicos -- also took part in the final show.

The Night of Number 10 -- a reference to the number 10 shirt he wore as part of Argentina's national football squad -- was popular from its first episode, when Maradona interviewed Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known a Pele, Brazil's best known international footballer.

Cuban president Fidel Castro, chess player Anatoli Karpov, and singers Joaquin Sabina and Charly Garcia also featured, as did footballers "Burrito Ortega", Juan Sebastian Veron and Fernando Redondo.
