African-American business envoys to explore investment avenues in Ghana

Over 48 renowned African-American business envoys will arrive in Ghana on Friday to explore the nation's potential investment areas, Ghana News Agency quoted a lawmaker as saying Sunday.

Henric David Yeboah, MP for Afigya-Sekyere East said the areas they would explore include education, banking, tourism, housing and construction.

The team included Leonard Murray of Law Offices of Murray, Michelle Hooper, the Directors' Council, Jeanna Bridges of Harris Bank, North America and Willie Carrington of Carrington and Carrington Limited.

A Ghanaian artist, based in the United States, Professor SamuelAkainya of Kennedy King College and Akainya Gallery in Chicago, will lead the team.

The team will call on the President John Agyekum Kufuor and also visit areas of interest in Accra, Elmina and Kumasi.
