A survey conducted by AC Nilson shows that 63% of Chinese netizens have had the experience of shopping online. China is becoming a big online shopping market as the number of Chinese netizens increase sharply in recent years.
The survey indicates that book is the most popular commodity of online purchase, 56% of online shoppers choose to buy books online.
The second largest category goes to disc products such as DVD or electronic games, 24% of netizens favor those products.
23% of online buyers like to buy music products, clothes, shoes, hats or fashion ornaments online.
In terms of payment, the survey shows that 34% of online purchasers pay cash, 31% choose online banking and 26% use credit card.
