Nearly 90 German investors said Russia's business conditions had improved in recent years, said a survey released in Berlin on Monday.
The survey, conducted by a committee of the Federation of German Industry, also found that the investment conditions will continue to improve in the coming years.
More than 80 percent of those surveyed investors expect a more than 10 percent increase in the turnover from their Russia operations in next few years.
The survey also found that German investors are confident in the direction of the reforms undertaken by the Russian authorities.
One of the major advantages for investing in Russia is the growing strength of private consumption in the country, the survey found.
Germany is Russia's most important trading partner and the trade volume rose 18.4 percent in 2004 to over 31 billion euros ( about 36.3 billion US dollars).
Russia's main exports are raw materials and sources of energy, while Germany largely exports finished products and capital goods.
In aggregate direct investments in Russia, Germany took the fourth position in 2004 with about US 9.32 billion US dollars.
