Mother of Susanne Osthoff, who was abducted in Iraq nearly two weeks ago, made another plea Thursday for the kidnappers to release her daughter.
"My daughter and her driver were both there to help," Ingrid Hala said in a message aired in Germany by the all news channel N- TV.
"I appeal to everyone to help so that these kidnappers are released," she said.
Last Thursday, Ingrd and daughter Anja made an emotional TV plea, imploring the kidnappers to release Osthoff.
That pleading message was shown on Germany's ZDF television and also transmitted in Iraq by Arabic channel Al-Jazeera.
German authorities have been working around the clock to secure the safe release of Osthoff, a 43-year-old German archaeologist who was taken hostage along with her driver in northern Iraq on Nov. 25.
So far no further information has been secured about her.
