China registers sales of 3.5 million cars from January to November

China registered sales of 3.5 million passenger cars from January to November, a year-on-year increase of nearly 20 percent, according to the latest statistics published by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

From January to November, the sales of sedan cars was 2.4564 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.52 percent; the sales of MPV was 137,900, representing an increase of 42.37 percent; the sales of SUV increased 16.02 percent to reach 173,500.

The top ten auto makers are: Shanghai General Motors, Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW Volkswagen, Beijing Hyundai, Guangzhou Honda, FAW Xiali, Chery, Dongfeng Nissan, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile and FAW Toyota. The top ten brands are Xiali, Elantra, Santana, Excelle, Jetta, Accord, QQ, Fit, Geely and Qianlima.
