The Brazilian Soccer Federation (CBF) told the press on Wednesday that it had chosen Konigstein, close to Frankfurt, as its base for the 2006 Germany World Cup.
The team will stay in the Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein from June 4 until the start of the competition.
"The hotel offers quality rooms and facilities so that the team can have a comfortable stay during the World Cup," the CBF said.
The Federation also said that it would train at the grounds of a third division German club, which is five minutes from the hotel.
The Brazilian team will leave Konigstein and head for Berlin for their June 13 match with Croatia, then move on to Munich to play Australia on June 18, finally they will travel to Dortmund for a June 22 match with Japan.
The Brazilians will begin their training, under manager Carlos Alberto Parreira, in Weggis Switzerland, on May 22, before moving to Konigstein.
Five times the World Cup holder, Brazil is the favorite to win the 2006 Cup thanks to international superstars like Ronaldo Gaucho of Barcelona FC, Ronaldo of Real Madrid, Adriano of Inter Milan and Kaka of Milan.
Brazil won the last major competitions it entered, the 2004 Copa America and the 2005 Confederations Cup.
