The Shenzhou IV orbital module has been operating normally for 60 days by 3:44 AM December 17 and has orbited 1000 loops around the earth with scientific experiments being conducted smoothly in the spacecraft, according to the latest data from Beijing Space Flight Control Center.
The orbital module was set to fly in space for six months after being separated from the re-entry module, which has returned home safely, at 4: 27 AM on October 17.
So far, all data shows that onboard equipments in the orbital module are in good condition for all the types of designed programs and experiments, the orbital module has laid foundations for future manned space flight.
