Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam caravan tour organized to boost tourism
font size

The first-ever caravan tour of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam has concluded successfully in Ho Chi Minh City, southern Vietnam, the Thai News Agency reported Sunday.

The success of the caravan tour paves the way for expanded tourism and cultural exchange between the three neighboring countries, the report said.

A total of 160 government officials, representatives of tourist businesses and journalists of the three nations joined the tour -- scheduled for Dec. 18-23 -- in 30 sedans and three passenger buses.

The caravan started from Bangkok passing through Thailand's eastern borderline in Sa Kaew Province to Cambodia, visiting Siem Reap, Ankor Wat and Phnom Penh, and concluded in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City.
