News from "community volunteers and harmonious society forum" held in Hangzhou on Dec. 26 and 27 says that 13.79 million Chinese have registered as volunteers at some 89,000 various youth volunteer organisations across the country.
It is reported that a team of volunteers with youngsters, registered volunteers as backbone and other participants from all walks of life has been preliminarily established.
