The government has already released funds for the procurement of the equipment and the new transmitters will be installed by the end of March this year.

ZNBC is now carrying out refining work on 26 cable satellite television (CASAT) installed transmitters at remote TV sites around the country, Tonga said.

Since the government started the project to take TV to all parts of Zambia in 1979, of the total 73 districts 31 districts have already been provided transmitters.
