FM spokesman: China concerned about Sharon's health

China is very concerned about Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's health, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan said Friday in Beijing.

"We wish him an early recovery," Kong said.

Kong made the remarks when asked to comment on Sharon's hospitalization due to a serious stroke.
