An exhibition of stamps on the theme of dogs opened at the Singapore Philatelic Museum Saturday to celebrate the coming Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dog.

Called "It's a Dog's Life", this international collection of stamps shows the special characteristics of this beloved animal and its compatibility with other animals, including human beings.

The exhibition, which will last for some six months, also includes a special section featuring the common characteristics of people who were born in the Year of the Dog.
