font size

Over 200 Zambian soccer fans will go to Egypt on Jan. 19 to cheer the Zambian team in the Africa Cup to be kicked off in five days, Sunday Times reported.

The local newspaper quoted Chipolopolo Soccer Fans Association (CSFA) General Secretary Tom Ngenda as saying here on Saturday that up to 265 soccer fans will make the trip to Alexandria where Group C will be based.

He said CSFA wants to ensure the team get maximum support so that they could return home with trophy.

"Zambia is definitely coming back with the trophy and we have to be there to give the boys massive support," Ngenda said.

After the Tunisia match, Zambia will then play Guinea on Jan. 26 with the last Group C match against South Africa on Jan. 30.
