Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met in Vienna with the foreign policy troika of the European Union (EU), exchanging views on a wide range of issues between China and the 25-member bloc.
Participants from the EU sides are Austrian Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik, Finland's Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja, EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana and EU commissioner for external relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
By press time, the meeting is still going on.
In recent years, the relations between China and the EU have been deepened. The EU is the biggest trading partner of China and China is the second biggest trading partner of the EU.
