American Hedrick wins men's 5,000m speed skating

American Chad Hedrick clocked six minutes 14.68 seconds to win the men's 5,000m speed skating gold medal at the Turin Winter Olympics on Saturday.

World record holder Sven Krammer of the Netherlands finished second in 6:16.40 and Italian Enrico Fabris was third in 6:18.25.
